Three shows from One Chicago are currently in production for the 2022-2023 TV Season. Fans only have a few months before more information becomes available. Chicago P.D., Chicago Fire?, and Chicago Med teams. Marina Squerciati shared photos to celebrate P.D.I am just starting Season 10, which has enough stars from other shows that it makes me miss the big crossovers.

The actress’ caption may have said that she “came to the wrong show,” but I feel like it’s the right way to let fans know that the action is gearing up in Chicago again for the NBC shows. Her #crossover hashtag doesn’t necessarily mean that Burgess will turn up at the hospital, and could just mean that the P.D.The actress was spotted running into the MedStars, but it still makes my heart miss the days of major crossovers.
One Chicago has been able to deliver mini crossovers during the last couple seasons. Sometimes, a character would appear on another show when somebody needed emergency medical help, police assistance, or fire department services. But NBC hasn’t aired a big three-show event since all the way back in 2019, and the last two-parter between FireAnd P.D.In early 2020, it aired for a mere few weeks. One Chicago does have good reasons to not host another crossover event in each of the two seasons. “Infection”Three-parter involving Fire, P.D.?, and Med. Without the extra variables of a crossover, the pandemic protocols presented significant challenges to individual shows in their production.

All of that said, I can’t help but hope that the Chicago shows will cross over a little bit more in the new season, safety permitting. It’s still a shame that we never got to see Will Halstead’s reaction on MedTo find out that Jay got married on P.D.He could not be invited to the wedding. One Chicago will surely reunite the Halstead brothers once the show returns in the fall. We can still hope that it does!
