It has been rare for anime shows to have the power of crashing Crunchyroll streaming websites.
Previously, the only series to have crashed Crunchyroll was One Piece, Dragon Ball Z, and Attack on Titan – although the latter crashed the site twice during its season 4 part 1 broadcast.
Chainsaw Man and Attack on Titan have now crashed Crunchyroll twice each (episodes 3 and 1); when will episode 4 air around the world?
Chainsaw Man Episode 4 Release Date and Time
Chainsaw Man Episode 4 is available. scheduledAirs in Japan on Wednesday, November 2, 2012.nd – for the vast majority of international fans, the new episode will premiere on Tuesday, November 1st.
AsConfirmedby the Crunchyroll streaming platform, Chainsaw Man releases new episodes at the following times around the world:
- Pacific Time – 9 AM
- Central Time – 11 AM
- Eastern Time – 12 PM
- British Time – 4 PM
- European Time – 5 PM
- India Time – 9:30 PM
- Philippine Time – 12 AM
- Australia Central Daylight Time – 2:30 AM
Fans in the UK and EU should note that daylight savings came into effect over the weekend, resulting in Chainsaw Man’s release technically moving up by one hour (BST; GMT and CEST; CET, respectively).
Although an episode synopsis is not yet available on the Japanese official website, it will likely be made public in the hours before the broadcast.
What happened in Episode 3 ‘Meowy’s Whereabouts’?
Chainsaw Man Episode 3 began with Makima telling Power and Denji off about the huge mess they made after killing Sea Cucumber Devil. He explained how Power would normally be arrested for posing a danger to public safety.
Denji and Power start arguing back and forth, only for Makima to order them to start working better together – Power agrees that they can, but she is obviously scared of getting on Makima’s bad side.
Power explained to Power that she only enjoys company with her cat, and that she has been bitten by a devil. ‘Meowy’ hostage. Denji agrees to help get the cat back from this mysterious devil, Power says that he can touch her breasts if they do succeed – which ironically motivates Denji more than Makima’s scolding.
Makima continues to update the Public Safety higher-ups. Aki, however, says Denji is on his way back. ‘disgusting’Interesting, but not interesting. She explains how Devils are feared for their names; the Coffee Devil wouldn’t be scary, but the possibility of a Chainsaw Devil is haunting.
Denji and Power arrive at Meowy’s house, where the devil holds her hostage. Power knocks Denji unconscious. It turns out that Power has made a deal to supply him with human blood to heal himself. (He claimed that he would give Meowy back if Power did so).
Denji is refused by the Bat Devil because his taste is disgusting. He then swallows Meowy whole. He flies towards the city where he plans to eat some civilians, only to find Denji holding onto his leg – the two fight and subsequently falls into a building.
The Bat Devil and Denji then battle on a highway and whilst Denji claims that he doesn’t care about collateral damage, he is ultimately able to kill the Bat Devil.

Fans countdown to Episode 4 of Chainsaw Man. It has been revealed that the official first part of Chainsaw Man’s fourth episode has just been posted. soundtrackIt has been made available online.
Volume 1 of The Chainsaw Man Soundtrack includes Episodes 1-3. It is now available online Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music?, and KKBOX.
Volume 2 (episodes 4-7), will be released on Wednesday, November 23.
Volume 3 (episodes 5-8) will be available on Wednesday, 28 December.
