Butch Walker plays the piano man in a new song, ‘Holy Water Hangover’

Butch Walker is not a fool: His last album, which was a concept record about a divided America, was recorded from the point of view of both earnest lefties as well as far-right loons. The follow-up is available here Butch Walker As…GlennThe Green Day producer, guitarist, and songwriter transforms into a Seventies barroom keyboard player, whose name gives the album its title.

“Between reaching for all of my rock n roll piano balladeer muses of my youth while driving or motorcycling, and feeling a common thread of snarky humor with sad reality, I started a journey for this new crop of songs,” Walker wroteThe album can be found on social media. “I said to myself, ‘Okay… you haven’t really written a record that feels like a soundtrack to all the rock balladeer bar singers out there.. and you know you wanna…’”
