In Fort Lauderdale, Florida, customers who head to the BurgerFi location at 4343 North Ocean Boulevard will have the chance to combine their favorite sauces, as reported by Restaurant News. It’s the first time Heinz has brought the Remix machine to market. The company notes it as a revolutionary piece of technology never before seen in the condiment industry.

The digital sauce dispenser is touchscreen and can mix whatever customers might like amid the 200 total combinations. To use it, BurgerFi customers must first choose a base listed on the machine. The bases include Heinz ketchup, mayo, ranch, or barbecue sauce. They can then add a selection of “enhancers.” Mango, buffalo, jalapeño, and smoky chipotle, among other options, are listed. Those enhancers are also offered at different levels of intensity, including low, medium, and high.

Cindy Syracuse, BurgerFi International’s chief marketing officer, boasted, “Our burger brand keeps getting better and better” due to the new “eating experience” while speaking with Restaurant News. Syracuse added that it was a perfect addition for fans to customize their sauces with the Heinz Remix, as BurgerFi’s “chef-crafted sauces” already set the brand apart from other burger chains. BurgerFi CEO Carl Bachmann also praised the partnership with Heinz. “As a brand, we know that guests are looking for unique dining experiences, and there is nothing more distinctive than being able to create a sauce flavor profile that is custom to your craving,” Bachmann noted. “We are excited to be the first restaurant to showcase the Heinz Remix…and eager to learn more about our guest’s changing tastes through this test.”
Expansion of the Heinz Remix Machine Across Florida Locations
BurgerFi also confirmed that four other Heinz Remix machines would arrive at locations across Florida in the coming months for customers. The first will be in Delray Beach and the second in Pembroke Pines. After that, a West Boca Raton BurgerFi will get a Heinz Remix, along with a location in West Palm Beach.
