The upcoming movie will be adapted from Helen Fielding’s 2013 novel, “Mad About the Boy,” continuing the story of Bridget Jones, now navigating life in her early fifties as a single mother and widow in the digital age. The film, a collaboration between Universal Pictures, Working Title, features a storyline that delves into Bridget’s experiences with work, family, and love.
