Boosting Ukraine’s Defence: UK to Send £150M Military Aid Package
A MILITARY package worth £150million to boost air and sea defences is being sent to Ukraine. It will help to protect the country’s battered infrastructure, Defence Secretary Grant Shapps says.

Enhancing Air Defences: £70M Worth of Equipment from UK and Allies
Air defence radars, decoys, and electronic warfare systems worth £70million will be sent by the UK and allies.

Strengthening Maritime Capabilities: £80M for Small Boats and Reconnaissance Drones
Meanwhile, £80million for small boats, reconnaissance drones, and uncrewed surface vessels is being provided.

Support from the International Fund for Ukraine: Meeting Urgent Capability Requirements
Mr Shapps said: “The International Fund for Ukraine is providing vital support to the Armed Forces of Ukraine to meet their urgent capability requirements.”

Significant Funding: £900M Received by the Fund for Ukraine
The fund for Ukraine has received £900million so far. The UK is the biggest donor, giving £500million.

Alliance Support: Contributions from Denmark, Estonia, Finland, and Germany
Denmark, Estonia, Finland, and Germany are also part of the alliance.

Revealing Collusion: China and Russia’s Involvement in Combat Equipment
It came as Mr Shapps revealed that China and Russia were colluding over combat equipment. He said it gave the lie to Beijing’s claim that it was a calming influence on its ally.

Lethal Aid Flowing: US and British Intelligence Reports on Aid to Russia from China
He said: “US and British intelligence can reveal that lethal aid is now flowing from China to Russia and into Ukraine.”
