BIG Brother contestant PJ Ellis’ appearance on the show is best remembered for one thing – his fling with Jade Goody.
But although he was a household name in 2002, it is likely that most BB fans wouldn’t even recognise him these days.

PJ – short for Peter James – is now a lot older and wiser, having put his reality TV past long behind him.
Peter is now the director of an advertising and marketing company called Lightbox Digital.
Now a father, the Brummie-born businessman is also the co-founder of Love Brum, a charity that supports local projects in Birmingham.
And if that’s not enough, PJ is an advisor for English Schools’ Football Association and has even done TEDx Talks.
In a recent video posted to his Twitter account, PJ has offered his followers some useful advice on how to remain positive when things don’t go to plan.
He said: “Is it a loss or a learn? What we saying?
“A good friend of mine once said, ‘PJ, it’s a learn all day long’. But sometimes it feels like a loss, doesn’t it.
“How do you recalibrate that ‘loss’ and make sure it’s a learn? Let me know.”
PJ was a 22-year-old law student when he entered the Big Brother house for series three of the reality show.
He also starred alongside Alison Hammond and Kate Lawler.
PJ will be best remembered for a steamy moment under the covers between himself and the now late Jade Goody.
The pair enjoyed a fumble after a booze-fuelled evening, with Jade apparently performing a sex act on him.
But the following day, PJ sparked anger across the nation when he ignored her.
Jade, who died from cervical cancer in 2009, went on to write in her autobiography: “Spencer [Smith] sang, ‘Jade gave PJ a blow job’ under his breath in a jokey way a couple of times, and I told him to f*** off. But I did laugh.
“I was more worried about PJ’s job and the consequences of our actions than what he thought of me after that. I wasn’t too bothered about my mum because I knew she’d stick by me forever and nothing did would affect that.”
PJ has fond memories of his time in the Big Brother house and enjoyed watching Big Brother: Best Shows Ever in 2020, which looked back at the most iconic moments from BB history.
He tweeted at the time: “Was SO lucky to have done #BBUK and even luckier to have done the third series. Pouring myself a huge mug of nostalgia watching this @bbuk gig on @E4Tweets – good times.”
Meanwhile, Big Brother fans are in for a treat when the show makes its huge comeback on Sunday October 8 on ITV1/ ITV2/ ITVX.
