Monday’s response by President Joe Biden to a question Fox News reporter Peter Doocy asked, was a mix of good and bad. The media were being removed from a news conference.
“No, it’s a great asset — more inflation,”Responding to Doocy’s question about whether inflation was a problem for the midterm elections, Biden stated that he did not believe so. “What a stupid son of a bitch.”
Biden had been speaking to reporters for approximately 10 minutes. The comments came just as Biden was about to address reporters again, leaving no doubt that he knew that microphones would pick up his words.

The following is an extract from the official transcript Reporters last questioned President Obama at the White House. “Will you send troops to Ukraine, sir? Why are you send 8,500 troops to Ukraine, possibly? Will you take questions on inflation then? Do you think inflation is a political liability ahead of the midterms?”
Doocy appeared on Fox News’ Fox News program, prompting swift reactions on cable news channels “The Five”In stand-up news outside the White House
“Yeah, nobody has fact-checked him yet and said it’s not true,”Doocy laughed to a laugh panel of hosts, which included anchor Jesse Watters.
CNN had their White House reporter on to address the possibility Biden didn’t know his comments would be picked up by microphones. Kaitlan Collins said that there was no chance of this.
“He was speaking on a microphone,” Collins reported. “He had just made remarks to the room for about 10 or so minutes on this competitive council they have formed here at the White House.”
“And it seemed pretty clear he knew he was on a mic, Jake,”Collins also spoke out with Jake Tapper, CNN anchor.
