The Strictly Come Dancing Legend is set to succeed David Walliams in the role of judge for Britain’s Got Talent.
Central Recorder announced yesterday that David, 51 had sensationally retired from the show, after a decade of service.

Oti Mbuse (ex-Strictly performer) is now the most popular name on the panel.
William Hill Spokesperson, Lee Phelps, said: “WiTh David Walliams’ departure from Britain’s Got Talent all but confirmed, the early indication is that Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse could be composing some steps to be named as a replacement judge.
“Mabuse is even-money to appear as a judge in 2023, making her the comfortable favourite to swap the ballroom for the judge’s panel in the 16thEdition of the Show.”
According to odds, other names in the fame are Joel Dommett, Love Island winner Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and Olivia Attwood, following her short-lived I’m a Celebrity stint.
David quit Britain’s Got Talent after making offensive comments about other contestants.
One was called by him. “c***” Three times, mocked the other during breaks while filming.
David said in a statement earlier this month: “I would like to apologise to the people I made disrespectful comments about during breaks in filming for Britain’s Got Talent in 2020.
“These were private conversations and – like most conversations with friends – were never intended to be shared. Nevertheless, I am sorry.”
A source close to the funnyman said: “David has decided to bow out after a ten-year run. After a great time, he wants to go on a high.
