Betty White’s interview with Joan Rivers for the “Tonight Show” goes viral

“And if you dare say, ‘Who’s that other b— on the cover?’ I will never speak to you again for as long as I live,”White spoke, then followed by a playful clarification. “I am the one in the pink jacket.”

Rivers made a mocking joke about White’s cover, and White replied: “Not a major publication? If you have dogs, I tell you that’s a very major publication.”

“For your career, though, that’s a good start,”Rivers responded.

But White didn’t let Rivers have the last laugh when Rivers critiqued White’s all-navy blue ensemble that she wore on the show.

“I asked you to come on tonight and look glamorous, and look what you showed up in,” Rivers said.

White did not miss a beat and defended her fashion choices. She also took aim at Rivers’ flashy style.

“I like to think understated is a lot classier than all this other stuff hanging out all over; well, it’s just ridiculous,”White spoke. “The little tassels on everything: Can you get them all going in opposite directions?”

Rivers teased White about her love life, while the blonde dynamos also discussed romance.

“I bet you’d be funny on a date if you ever had one,” Rivers said.

White agreed and offered her own humorous response. “Listen, I don’t find the G-spot hard to find at all, it’s a cinch. Any guy that touches me I say, ‘Oh gee.’ “

White and Rivers would later rekindle their sidesplitting chemistry in 2012, when Rivers guest starred on an episode of the TV Land sitcom “Hot in Cleveland,”Which White starred.
