Beatles Actors Revealed To Movie ‘Midas Man’First Look Images

The Beatles manager movie has revealed the cast of the Fab Four. Midas Man.

Jonah Lees (The Letter To The KingBlake Richardson () will be playing John Lennon.Eleven days) will be Paul McCartney, Leo Harvey Elledge (Creation StoriesGeorge Harrison plays the role of Ringo Starr, and Campbell Wallace, a newcomer to the scene will play that role. These are the first images of the newcomer actors playing the iconic quartet at London’s Abbey Road Studios.

Adam Lawrence (Peaky Blinders) has joined cast as Pete Best and, as we revealed earlier this week, Jay Leno (The Tonight Show) has joined as Ed Sullivan.

Jacob Fortune-Lloyd (The Queen’s Gambit) plays the lead role of Beatles manager Brian Epstein, Emily Watson is Epstein’s mother Malka “Queenie” Epstein, Eddie Marsan portrays Brian’s father and successful businessman Harry, Omari Douglas is Lonnie Trimble, Epstein’s ever-trusted confidant, and Rosie Day plays Merseybeat star Cilla Black. Lukas Gaage (Victory is in the HeartTex Ellington (Tex Ellington) and Charley Palmer Rothwell(Charley Palmer Rothwell)Jack Ryan) as The Beatles’ record producer George Martin.

Midas Man, currently in production, charts Epstein’s role in the creative explosion of the 1960s and his sizable influence on pop music.

As we revealed last week, the project is back in production after an enforced hiatus while producers sought a replacement for director Jonas Akerlund. Sara Sugarman (Confessions from a Teenage Drama Queenis newly aboard to direct.

Filming started last month in Liverpool, but was put on hold for three week. The shoot will be moved to the U.S. in the early part of next year.

Midas ManStudioPow Films and Trevor Beattie Films are producing the film. Sunny Vohra (Twickenham Studios Chairman) and Nicola Pearcey, former President of Lionsgate UK are the exec producer. The film is being produced in association with Er Dong Pictures. Er Dong Pictures will distribute the film in China. Mister Smith manages world sales, and has signed a few International deals. The screenplay’s original script is based upon a screen story written by Jonathan Wakeham and Brigit Grant.

Today, Sugarman stated: “The actors playing the Beatles are an extraordinary group they ooze that very visceral feeling of the 60’s, are charming, playful, and so authentic and I have no doubt that Jay Leno will capture the essence of Ed Sullivan perfectly. His own experience as an American television host will bring forward a natural, and accurate portrayal and add an incredible element of modern showbiz to the story.”

Mister Smith Entertainment has pre-sold it to Signature UK/Ireland Transmission Films Australia/NZ, ACME and in the Baltics, WW Entertainment, in Benelux, Exponenta In Ex-Yugoslavia Metropolitan in France, Eagle Pictures, Monolith Films Poland, Monolith Films Italy, Monolith Films Poland, NOS Lusomundo Portugal, Mislabel, Tripictures, and Ascot Elite in Switzerland. The company is currently negotiating for additional territories.
