BBC Vigil Nail Biting Twist Scene Has Viewers Traumatized! Amy Thrown In…

The episode ended on a haunting final scene which saw Amy scream for help as her body was lodged in the tiny tube as water began to surround her

BBC One viewers were horrified after Sunday night’s installment of thrilling submarine drama, Vigil.

Since its debut last month, the six-part crime drama has kept viewers riveted. It stars Suranne Jones and Leslie Rose, as well as Martin Compston.

Vigil is the result of a riveting investigation into the death of a crewman aboard the Trident nuclear submarine HMS Vigil.

Police from Scotland were summoned to investigate, but there was a catch: the UK must maintain its nuclear deterrent. The submarine must be kept on patrol so that Amy Silva, the chief inspector of the police, can go aboard.

And tonight’s episode was one of the most gripping yet as it was revealed that another team member on the submarine was actually the murderer.

Viewers were in disbelief in the final moments of the episode as Amy, who heroically traveled outside the sub to locate more hazmat suits for her squad, was thrown into a torpedo tube which was then filled with water by her fellow team member who was undercover all along.

The episode finished with a disturbing final scene that saw Amy screaming out for help as she was trapped in the tiny tube and water surrounding her.

After the last scene, shocked viewers took to Twitter to share their reactions.

“Being drowned alive in a missile pod on a submarine in full hazmat gear? The new biggest fear of all time unlocked,” shared one viewer.

One viewer said that they felt traumatized after seeing the horrifying scenes.

“Honestly, my worst nightmare just played out in front of me there. I’m traumatized, but Vigil is sooooo good,” They composed the following.

“I’m still holding my breath. What an amazing episode,” Another fan was equally enthusiastic.

“I’m definitely going to be having nightmares for an entire week after watching that,” someone else complained.

A fifth viewer suggested Amy was being contaminated by the nuclear marine who tossed her in the pod after leaving the submarine.

“There’s another episode yet. I think you’ll find out next week that he put her in a torpedo tube full of water to wash her of contaminant,” They shared their thoughts.

Viewers will have to wait until next Sunday’s final episode to discover the truth.
