Reddit user Phxflyer shared the following: A flight attendant once said that rolling clothes is the best way to pack.

User wrote: “Definitely roll up your clothes.

If I roll in winter, I can store 12-14 days worth of clothes in a rolling bag.

“A flight attendant told me about it and I’ve been doing it for a while now.”

Reddit users also applauded this hack and shared their experiences with it.

Frecklesfunn stated: “Roll up all your clothes, in full-on outfits.

“I lay a complete outfit on the mattress, from longest to shortest. Then I roll it up.

“I only pack one extra outfit for how many days we will be gone in addition to a few extra underwear/socks/shirts. With kids especially – this makes life so much easier.”

Another user stated that rolling clothes was a great way to get dressed up. “takes up far less space.”

You should always be aware of the weight of your carry on, even if you are using the rolling method.

Some airlines that are low-budget have weight restrictions for carry-on luggage.

Check with your airline about carry-on restrictions and rules so that you don’t get stuck having to check your bag at the airport.
