APPLE might be changing the design of its iPhone.
According to industry insiders, Apple may be secretly working on a new button design next year for the iPhone 15.

Apple, presumably, is replacing the volume buttons on its iPhone 15 Pro.

This is according to Blayne and Tom O’Malley, analysts at Barclays. MacRumors.
These haptic buttons can be managed by a new chip, according to Apple.

The biggest difference in the new iPhone models for next year when it comes to potential uses is the elimination of the buttons.

However, there wouldn’t be any movement.
Haptic history
This haptic trick was not new to Apple.
Apple used the Taptic Home button in several iPhone models including the iPhone 8 (and recent iPhone SE) devices.
To simulate pressing a button, they use vibrations and sound effects to create the illusion of movement.
Apple Force Touch trackpads also work this way on the latest MacBook models.
Unfortunately, the possibility of the iPhone 15 regular models being updated is unlikely.
The insiders claim that it will be limited to iPhone 15 Pro users.
The use of haptic buttons to improve water repellency and minimize device wear can be beneficial.
However, it’s not clear if Apple will actually follow through with these plans so please take any rumours or leaks with a grain of salt.
Is the iPhone 15 coming out soon?
Apple is known for sticking to the exact same release dates each year.
The big launch event always takes place in September, and generally falls early on in the month – on a Tuesday or Wednesday, typically.
In 2023 the iPhone 15’s most anticipated reveal date would be Wednesday, September 13 or Tuesday, September 12.
Even though Wednesday may seem more likely, it is important to allow for some breathing space between September 11 and the iPhone’s launch. It also serves as a day of remembering the victims of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Centre.
This would mean that pre-orders of the iPhone 15 will likely go live on Friday September 15th.
This would probably be followed by the rollout of the next iOS software update (iOS 17?) On Monday, September 18,
We suspect the iPhone 15 reviews will drop Wednesday, September 20, as we predict.
The iPhone 15 release date will likely be Friday September 22.
Of course, Apple could shift this entire process one week earlier (like it did for the 2022 release), but the rough format will almost certainly remain the same.
