Anne Heche to Rest at Hollywood Forever Cemetery

Anne Heche is now buried in Hollywood Forever cemetery. This cemetery is where many Hollywood legends rest, and it still functions as a cultural center for the public.

Heche’s remains were cremated, and were placed in a vault near the cemetery’s lake at the Garden of Legends, multiple sources tell . Nearby is the final resting place of Burt Reynolds, Mickey Rooney and Halyna Houtchins. This is the location of the cinematographer who was killed after Alec Baldwin accidentally fired live rounds on the set of “Rust.”

Hollywood Forever was established in 1899. It is one of the oldest cemeteries located in Los Angeles. Rudolph Valentino and Douglas Fairbanks are among the stars buried nearby. “Star Trek”Anton Yelchin.

This cemetery hosts a variety of cultural events throughout each year and a popular summer movie-screening show.

“We are convinced our Mom would love the site we have chosen for her,” Heche’s son Homer told TMZ.

“It’s beautiful, serene and she will be among her Hollywood peers,”He continued. “Most importantly, Hollywood Forever is a living place, where people attend movies and concerts and other events. She was our Mom, but the kindness and the outpouring of the past few days reminded us that she also belongs to her fans, to the entertainment community, and now, to the ages.”

Heche was placed on life support after she was declared brain dead. She had been the victim in a fiery car accident that rammed into a Westside house. Heche was confirmed to have been matched for an organ donor, but further information was not made available.
