Anne Heche is severely burned in a car crash in Los Angeles

Anne Heche crashed her Mini Cooper into a garage in an apartment complex Friday. Residents tried to help but the car sped off and crashed into a nearby house. This set off a destructive firestorm that eventually led to Anne Heche’s death. “Six Days, Seven Nights”Actress with severe burns in hospital TMZ reported.

Police confirmed details of the incident to , but not the actress’ identity because no one had been arrested.

TMZ says Heche’s car was caught on video speeding wildly through a residential after the apartment incident, where residents tried to help her get out of the pinned vehicle — but she backed up and sped away. Moments later, her car crashed into a house so violently that it was impossible to see from the outside.

Aerial footage showed dozens of firefighters swarming the house with the vehicle – with Heche still in it – fully inside the burning home.

Heche was finally lifted onto a gurney by firefighters after several exhausting minutes. The stretcher was being loaded into the ambulance when Heche can be seen attempting to stand on her own.

TMZ did not report on the extent of Heche’s injuries, but said she was hospitalized “but expected to live.”Photos from TMZ show Heche with what appears be a bottle of alcohol in his cup-holder in the seconds following the garage mishap.

“The vehicle was heading east on Preston Way at a high rate of speed, entered the T intersection at Preston Way and Walgrove Ave, ran off the road and collided with the residence in the 1700 block of Walgrove,”Tony Im, Los Angeles Police Department public info officer, was told “The vehicle became engulfed in flames and the driver was transported to a local hospital by LAFD,”According to police

Other TMZ photos show Heche’s damaged and charred vehicle after it was pulled from the home; firefighters battling the burning roof of the house; and a stretcher being loaded into an ambulance.

“We really had a multifaceted incident here,”LAFD Capt. Erik Scott told KTLA. “We had a significant traffic collision, we had entrapment of a woman inside that, we had car that erupted into fire, and then we had a home that had significant fire that is red tagged. It’s at this point destroyed.”

Friday’s messages were not returned by Heche. Heche has had a history of mental health problems and personal troubles.

She drove from Los Angeles to Fresno in 2000 and parked at the side of the road. Then she knocked on the doors of random homes. Heche was recognized by the woman who answered the door and she was allowed to enter. She received water, slippers, and a towel. Heche entered her living room, asked for a movie and was immediately called by police.

A police report says that Heche said to deputies that she was “God, and was going to take everyone back to heaven in a spaceship.”She was taken to Fresno’s mental hospital and released.

Heche, who famously dated Ellen DeGeneres 1997-2000, spoke out about childhood trauma and abuse in several interviews. She published a memoir entitled “Sheche” in 2003. “Call Me Crazy.”

The height of Heche’s acting career came in the 1990s, including starring opposite Johnny Depp in “Donny Brasco,”The romantic adventure of 1998 “Six Days, Seven Nights.”Three Daytime Emmys were awarded to her for her early contributions to the soap opera. “Another World.”
