Candis and Andy have so far only paid $14,000 back of that amount.

Insider was told by the Merediths that they had given that money their contractor.

Insider was told that the contractor had not returned the money and stopped responding to messages. The Merediths decided to pay the Goateses their own money. Insider was not able to access the details of the contractors because the Merediths were concerned about privacy.

Insider heard from Candis and Andy, who said they had reached an agreement to repay the loan as well as the Goateses’ interest fees and legal costs.
