Ana de Armas Fans Sue Yesterday Producers Over Deleted Scene

An angry group of Ana de Armas supporters have filed a federal class-action lawsuit against Universal “false, deceptive, and misleading advertising”The 2019 movie “Yesterday,”Because the actress was only in the trailer, and not in the finished film.

Both Peter Michael Rosza (44), from San Diego County, California and Conor Woulfe (38), from Howard County, Maryland claim they paid $3.99 each to rent the film. “among other deceptions, Ana de Armas does not appear in the film.”

Plaintiffs claim that they have “suffered injury-in-fact and lost money”Universal is suing them for $5 million in damages.

“Because consumers were promised a movie with Ana de Armas by the trailer for ‘Yesterday,’ but did not receive a movie with any appearance of Ana de Armas at all, such consumers were not provided with any value for their rental or purchase,”The complaint says.

“Yesterday”Himesh Patel plays Jack Malik, a musician who suddenly becomes the only one to have ever heard of The Beatles. He is made famous by introducing their songs to the rest of the world.

De Armas was originally supposed to play Roxane (a potential love interest), but she was cut from the final film.
