Amazon unveils a new AI bedside device that monitors your sleep without you having to touch it

AMAZON has unveiled a new device that allows you to monitor your sleep and sits in your bedroom.

This sleep tracker is different than other ones because it doesn’t have to touch you. It simply sits on your bedside tables.

Amazon’s ‘Halo RiseThe’product will be available later in the year.

It is said to use artificial intelligence and sensors that are not contact to measure your movement and respiration when you’re asleep.

This may sound a bit creepy but Amazon says the device “does not include cameras or microphones”.

The app can help you learn about your sleep patterns and how to get them.

Halo Rise will retail for $139.99

The official release date of the book is still to be determined.

The device does more than track your sleep.

It can also be connected to an Alexa smartspeaker so it can wake you up to your favorite song.

The Amazon Halo Rise joins a growing list of health devices.

In the past, the company has been subject to criticism for its handling of heath data.

Amazon however is eager to refute such accusations.

It stated: ““Amazon Halo health data is not used for marketing, product recommendations, or advertising, and never sold.”
