BTS V fans are urging BigHit Music and HYBE to protect Kim Taehyung‘s privacy after a number of alleged photos of Taehyung and Jennie surfaced on the Internet.
While most fans have claimed that the photos are likely to be edited, it is still a violation of their privacy that is concerning fans urging the music labels to take proper steps regarding artists’ protection.
Alleged photos of Taehyung and Jennie’s forehead kiss surface as fans demand ‘protect Taehyung’
A number of alleged photos of Taehyung and Jennie have surfaced on the internet from the last week of August after May’s ‘Jeju‘ pic.
Fans have debunked most of the photos and where are they edited from including the latest one where V’s chin is supposedly touching Jennie’s forehead.
Speaking of the latest photos, a fan said, “Tae is one of the most private idols out there, always setting boundaries and keeping his privacy safe. How do you think he must feel having his personal life always discussed and every single movement analyzed? Taehyung deserves so much better @BIGHIT_MUSIC PROTECT TAEHYUNG.”
A second fan posted, “it’s CLEARLY an invasion of his and Jennie’s privacy and it’s getting out of hand. We may not be able to help them but we can still inform the company so that they take action.”
“Idc (i don’t care) whether Taehyung and Jennie are dating or not .. they are grown up they have all rights to do anything .. if you are their fan just know your limits and stop getting into their private life. PRIVACY AND SAFETY, BIGHIT PROTECT TAEHYUNG,” a third fan wrote.
Another fan summarized the situation by saying, “It was never about whether the rumors are true or not, but how the situation is getting out of hand and this is scary. Kim Taehyung PRIVACY and SAFETY Is what Hybe should take action to protect those who are invading his privacy. BIGHIT PROTECT TAEHYUNG.”
Jennie and V returned to Korea from New York
Jennie and V were both recently in New York for VMAs 2022 and personal work respectively. Upon returning to Korea on separate dates, both faced the press cameras with warm smiles waving at fans.
Taehyung has especially garnered praise for his polite gesture even when he was crowded by hundreds of cameras after a long flight. Even amidst numerous Twitter posts speculating and scrutinizing the idols’ personal lives, fans were relieved to see both of them healthy and happy meeting fans.
V also posted on Weverse assuring fans that he has returned healthily. He wrote, “I’ve gone and come back safely without getting hurt anywhere. I took a lot of photos to show ARMYs so I’ll post them soon.”
HITC has reached out to both labels for comments on the matter and this article will be updated accordingly.
