According to Variety, Morissette pulled the plug at the very last minute. The singer showed up to rehearsals. There are conflicting stories about why she dropped out of the show, but Morissette appeared to blame the show’s production team.

Morissette shared a lengthy Instagram story on her absence. She began by thanking Rodrigo and Simon for their support.
