Airbnb Can Provide a Haunted Hocus Pocus Cottage For You to Stay If You Dare

The Sanderson sisters’ creepy cottage has been recreated as an Airbnb in celebration of Disney’s “Hocus Pocus 2,”Their sequel film to 1993’s original “Hocus Pocus.”

“To mark their highly anticipated return in Disney’s Hocus Pocus 2, the infamous sisters are inviting guests to enter a land of enchantment with a once-in-a-lifetime stay at their creaky old cottage,”Airbnb SubmittedVisit its website.

According to witchy tradition, the homey and humble hovel is found in Salem, Massachusetts.

“We all know that the Sanderson Sisters’ story might not have ended when we turned to dust, nor did our shenanigans,”Kathy Najimy plays Mary Sanderson in both films. “What better way to celebrate the season than to host guests at the trio’s historic haunt for a night they’ll remember for years to come?”

Airbnb described the eerie experience further as one that included details from the “Hocus Pocus” world.

“Wooden boards that groan under the weight of curious cats and cupboards filled with blood of owl and herb that’s red (and even a hair from Winifred’s head) await those who dare to explore the cottage’s dark corners,”The site advertisement stated.

Visitors can visit Salem before their stay to see the grisly sequel out Sept. 30, and try their hand at magic around the cauldron. A replica of the sisters’ infamous book is available for attempts at spellcasting, but Najimy warned visitors against messing with the old tome.

“Don’t open that book — there’s a witchcraft book, but I wouldn’t open that if I were them,”She shared her story CNNThe immersive experience.

Both those who enjoyed the original film as well as those who awaited the sequel for over 30 years will enjoy their time at the witchy residence.

“It’s going to be unique and frightening – a lot like me,” Najimy continued. “The actual whole cottage will have all the Sanderson’s touches. But they’ll have the things that people need to have a good time, sheets and towels and beds and broomsticks and dead man’s toes and frightening things like that, too. Really wild, vivid recreation.”

The Sanderson’s wood-nestled cottage will become available as an Airbnb listing on Oct. 12 at 1 p.m. ET. The exclusive stay will occur Oct. 20 for two guests at $31 a night – plus taxes and fees – in celebration of All Hallow’s Eve.

Because the cottage is privately owned, it is not open to public competition.
