Damian Lewis, a star on HOMELAND TV has stated that he was exhausted after watching the show. “four or five months” after wife Helen McCrory’s death.
Helen, Polly from Peaky Blinders, and Narcissa in Harry Potter films, was 52 years old when she died of cancer.

Damian, 51 years old, shared his sorrow at the loss of his 14-year-old wife and mother to his two children with The Times magazine. “For four or five months, you’re physically drained.”
Helen was hospitalized for over four-and-a half years.
Damian said: “Until the moment of death, you’re fully engaged in living the best possible life that can be lived for the person dying, and for you as a family and for the children.
“It takes an enormous amount of energy.”
Damian is now pursuing music and has created his album Mission Creep. He described it as “a musical journey.” “mini mid-life crisis”.
His role as Nicholas Elliott in A Spy Among Friends is his latest, and his first since his wife’s death last year.
He has appeared as Nicholas Brody on Homeland and as Army Major Richard Winters on HBO’s Band Of Brothers. Bobby Axelrod was also on Billions.
After five seasons as ‘Axe,’ Billions”’ he decided to retire from the role in order to spend more time with his family.
