PRINCE Andrew was reported to have wept when King George told him that he wouldn’t return to Royal duties.

Central Recorder revealed that in August, Prince Andrew was engaged in intense talks about his future with the Queen.
The disgraced Duke — whose bid to get his royal roles reinstated was rejected by the Queen earlier this summer — wanted a new position to see out his days.
He was stripped of all his patronages and military titles because of his multi-million pound payout to sex abuse accuser Virginia Giuffre.
He was also criticized last night for not completing any charitable work since his promise to make amends for the scandal.
He paid millions of pounds to Ms Giuffre, 39, in an out-of-court settlement in February and made a donation to her anti-sex trafficking charity.
A statement at the time said the Duke would show his remorse by “supporting the fight against the evils of sex trafficking by supporting its victims”.
