Singer and rapper Aaron Carter was sadly found dead at the age of 34 over the weekend, it comes after the star’s final Instagram post saw him sing how he ‘wouldn’t be gone for long’.
TMZ reported Los Angeles County police were dispatched to the singer’s home in Lancaster, California.
Carter was tragically discovered dead at his home after they arrived on the scene at 11:00 GMT (18:00 GMT). Later, Carter’s team confirmed his death and announced that his family was to fly to LA to follow the news.
“Right now it’s a really bad time, we’re trying to figure out what happened and what the cause of it was,”They agreed.
“We’re just as upset as everyone and hope that fans can give thoughts and prayers to his family.”

Carving out his own career in brother’s shadow
Despite being the younger brother of the Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, he made a name for himself as an artist. Aaron rose to prominence in the 1990s as a pop singer.
At nine years old, he signed his initial record deal. In 1997, he released his debut album.
Carter went on to record four studio albums, which sold millions. These albums were also used as opening acts for the Backstreet Boys at a variety of concerts and tours.
His second album, Aaron’s Party (Come Get It), was released in 2000 and went triple platinum. It featured his most popular singles, I Want Candy, Aaron’s Party (Come Get It) and That’s How I Beat Shaq.
Following the success of his album, Carter again supported the Backstreet Boys and Britney Spears on the infamous Oops!… I Did It Again tour.
Carter was a successful actor and entrepreneur, but he had a change in heart and decided to become rap. He also appeared in Broadway musicals and the hit US TV program Dancing With The Stars.
