World War HulkThis is the title of an MCU standalone Hulk movie, which Marvel may already have in development. The title was not confirmed by Marvel at its Comic-Con event. Marvel revealed all Phase 5 titles and three Phase 6 titles at Comic-Con. Avengers 5And 6.
Marvel has many dates that Marvel didn’t include in Phase 6. World War Hulk movie in it. Then again, it also has some leaked MCU movie trademarks that it’s yet to acknowledge. And World War Hulk isn’t one of them.
A recent discovery could indicate this, however. World War HulkIt could happen very soon. Keep in mind, Some spoilers may follow.
Why Marvel can’t make Hulk movies
Marvel’s problem with the Hulk franchise is similar to its problem with Spider-Man. But it’s not as bad. Marvel might have created the character, but it doesn’t own the movie rights.
Marvel must deal with Universal to use Hulk in MCU, as it does with Sony to produce Spider-Man.
Admittedly, the Hulk problem isn’t as big as Spider-Man. Marvel has used Hulk extensively in many movies since The Incredible Hulk (2008). (2008).
Ruffalo, however, never received his own movie. He’s now the only original Avenger not to have a standalone project. However, if the new discovery is true, World War HulkThis movie might finally be for the big man.
Not being able to make standalone Hulk movies didn’t stop Marvel from including the character in many adventures to develop Hulk’s arc along the way.
Ruffalo has been in all four AvengersMovies and Thor: Ragnarok. Add Iron Man 3, Captain MarvelAnd Shang-ChiThe appearance in and cameos are added to the list. She-Hulk, and you realize we’ve had quite a Banner/Hulk journey since Edward Norton first played the MCU character. And we’re not counting the What If…?Cameos, because these are other Hulks.
Why? World War HulkIt might be possible
After the mid-October story, that said: World War Hulk movie was in the works, we didn’t have any significant developments on the matter. But we haven’t forgotten about the title. Marvel fans weren’t so lucky.
One of them was taken to Reddit to explain that Universal’s Hulk distribution agreement might end in June 2023. This date is derived from SEC filings older than 2023.

Universal Studios has agreed to distribute Marvel’s film The Incredible HulkParamount will distribute sequels and films on the exact same terms that Paramount has agreed on to distribute other films funded and produced under the film facility.
Redditor aforementioned found an amended agreement that Marvel and Paramount had reached. SpecificThe deal must have an expiration date

The Incredible HulkHit theaters in June 2008. These documents may still be valid. This could mean that Marvel will regain the rights next June. Marvel may be able finally to make a World War Hulk movie.
