Directors Guild of America announced key dates for its 75th Annual DGA Awards. They will be held at the Beverly Hilton on February 18.
January 11th, the nominees will be revealed for first-time feature films and theatrical feature films. January 10th will bring out the nominations to television, commercials, and documentaries. The guild’s first awards show was held in 1948.
DGA members will have the opportunity to vote online between December 5th and January 10th for nominations in theatrical feature films, December 9th to January 6th for TV nominations in five different categories, and January 11th to February 17th for the award in theatrical feature film. All voting will take place online.

- Online voting opens for Theatrical Feature Movie Nominations December 5.
- Deadline for online voting: January 10, 2010
- Announce five nominees for Theatrical Feature Film: January 11
- Online voting opens for the Theatrical Feature Movie Award on January 11.
- Member Screenings (or streaming) of five nominated theatrical feature films: January 16-20
- Deadline to vote online in the Theatrical Features Film Award February 17
TELEVISION Awards
- Entry Forms for TV & Commercials available online: September 8
- Deadline for submission of Television and Commercials entries November 14
- December 9th is the first day of online voting for television nominations
