4 Family members may have been killed in an alleged murder-suicide

Three men and one women were killed Tuesday afternoon in what is believed to be a murder suicide.

Police responded to a call on the afternoon of Aug. 23 about shots fired in Lynn, Massachusetts, WCVBreported. Reports WCVB state that two men aged 34 and 66 were found dead at the scene from apparent gunshot wounds.

WCVB received reports from residents that there were over 20 shots fired.

“After three minutes, over 20 shots — one after another one,”A neighbor informed the outlet. “This is when I went, literally, on the floor because it was shots.”

Roughly an hour and a half after finding the two men, police found a 31-year-old woman dead in her vehicle at the local Stop & Shop, according to WCVB.

She is suspected to have died from a self-inflicted shot wound. reported.

Boston 25 News reports that police later discovered another victim in a car.

The four victims are thought to be related. Police have not revealed specific details. According to 7News. 7News reported that they first need to notify the next of kin of victims before disclosing more information.
