The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers and rumors tease that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) has a plan b if his getting Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) back doesn’t work out. He’ll romance Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) in an effort to gain a foothold in Newman Enterprises.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Flirting Already
One could see, despite his denials. Victoria is interested in taking over Newman Enterprises.He was already flirting with her and trying to get to know her during the conversation at Society. Even as he was waiting for Ashley to join him he was testing Victoria’s responses to him, and she was definitely generating some positive vibes. Victoria and Tucker had many more eye-to-eye looks and smiles than Ashley and Tucker.
Even on Tucker’s side it seemed faked, and Ashley was struggling to admit any connection, even though she was trying to fake her way into him opening up. One got a completely different sense watching Tucker and Victoria interact than when Ashley and Tucker interacted, even on Tucker’s part.
Y & R Spoilers – Master Plans
Tucker had previously mentioned to Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silber) at Genoa City Athletic Club that he believed Victoria was the CEO who tried to take over Chancellor–Winters. That didn’t make any sense to her, until he told her that his mother, Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) had originally left the company to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Tucker is her son and the company should have gone to him. Victor, at best, was a good friend. Although he wants to win Ashley’s trust, he is more interested in Victoria than Tucker and plays both ends. He doesn’t have an interest in Jabot as such, but Ashley has her own division in France so he has an interest there.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Playing Hero
Tucker knows that he can get on Victoria’s trusting side very easily in spite of her hard learned lesson with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman). Their relationship is already strong, better than Ashley trying to break down the icy wall. He intends to continue to build it. If Victoria indeed is trying to take over his son’s company and he can intervene – or take over Newman first and beat her to the punch he can be a hero.
Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will thank his father for saving his company and he’ll have gained more wealth in the meantime. But it’s always good to have a plan b, even if the b stands for botched!
