Wedding Day Disaster as Storm Blows off Huge Tent during the Ceremony

A storm that blew a venue tent destroyed a couple’s wedding and injured several guests. The tent company, hotel, and events planner are being sued for negligence.

What was supposedly the happiest day of an Atlanta couple’s life turned into a disaster that injured several guests.

Before the bride and groom exchanged “I dos,” strong winds had the venue tent flying and all guests running for safety. As a result, they continued their vows inside a hotel dressing room.

A 32-weeks pregnant guest was among those physically hurt during the event. Meanwhile, Tiffany Ray, a violinist hired for the wedding, had her violin destroyed during the incident. “It was a terrifying experience,” she shared.

Guests who were physically affected have since filed lawsuits against St. Regis Hotel, the tent company, and the wedding planner. However, they all denied the negligence they were accused of.

Evidence used was the terrible weather forecast for that evening, where the weatherman said “damaging winds were possible” apart from heavy rain.

Another disastrous wedding recently occurred when a guest went wild and destroyed the wedding cake before the newlywed’s eyes.

The shocking moment captured in a viral video caught the couple’s reaction when an unruly guest grabbed the cake with his bare hands and shoved it in the groom’s face.

The guest took more of the cake with a broad smile and tried to toss it to the bride as she ran away. Fueled by anger, the groom punched the guest in front of everyone.

Weddings can be stressful to plan as many things should be considered, especially the weather. However, a light shower or heavy rains shouldn’t be a reason to stop the union of two people in love.

The man sought help from the Reddit community, asking if he was wrong for not inviting his daughter to the wedding.

The rain signifies good luck on a wedding day. But before hoping for this, any couple who plans to have an outdoor wedding ceremony should check on the weather forecast of their chosen date.

They should also have a backup plan in case things turn sour, such that the ceremony can still be continued despite the last-minute changes. Apart from the weather, one thing wedding planners should consider is the guest list.

Recently, a bride and groom-to-be decided to have a child-free wedding to keep the event intimate and solemn with grown-ups.

However, the groom was also a father to a nine-year-old girl and excluded her from the guest list since his bride suggested it. Because of his decision, the groom’s parents were furious and decided not to attend the wedding.

The man sought help from the Reddit community, asking if he was wrong for not inviting his daughter to the wedding. The response was unanimous in criticizing the father.
