Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible 8 Is Adding A Mindhunter Star

Many of the actors in the cast of Mission: Impossible 7, a.k.a. Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part OneThe following year,, will be back Mission: Impossible 8, a.k.a. Dead Reckoning Part II. However, a new casting has come in for someone who won’t be present in the former, but will cross paths with Tom Cruise’s Ethan Hunt in the latter. MindhunterHolt McCallany, star of Star Wars, has joined Mission: Impossible 8It sounds like a major role.

MindhunterFans know Holt McCallany as the FBI agent Bill Tench in the two seasons of Netflix that were streamed to Netflix subscribers between 2017-2018. McCallany’s other credits include movies like Alien 3, Alpha Dog, Gangster Squad, Wrath of ManAnd Nightmare AlleyOther TV shows like CSI: Miami, Blue BloodsAnd 61st Street. DeadlineMcCallany will now appear in, according to McCallany’s share. Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part TwoBernstein is Secretary of Defense.

It’s almost like Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part OneFor the eighth episode, plot details will be kept secret. Mission: Impossible movie. The first movie is a sure thing. Mission: Impossible 7 trailer provided a little context for the beginning of what’s expected to be the end of Tom Cruise’s run as Ethan Hunt, but without having seen that movie, we’re far from learning what we should expect from Dead Reckoning Part II. That said, with Holt McCallany playing the U.S. Secretary of Defense, there’s a good chance we’ll see him interacting with Ethan at some point, although as has happened time and time again in this spy franchise, just because Bernstein holds a powerful government position doesn’t mean he’s on our protagonist’s side.

The other newcomers to the scene include Mission: ImpossibleHolt McCallany’s franchise appears in Dead Reckoning Part IIHayley Atwell will portray the mysterious Grace, Esai morales as one the villains, Shea Whighan playing Jasper Briggs, and Pom Klementieff playing an undisclosed part. Turning to the familiar faces, Ethan Hunt will be joined once again by Ving Rhames’ Luther Stickell, Simon Pegg’s Benji Dunn, Rebecca Ferguson’s Ilsa Faust, Vanessa Kirby’s Alanna Mitsopolis and Henry Czerny’s Eugene Kittridge. Mission: Impossible — Dead Reckoning Part TwoPart Two will follow it on July 14, 2023. Part One will be released on June 28, 2024.
