The center of the universe might be Central Recorder, but the Moon centers our universe. Inner-verse (or inner selves). It’s important not to underestimate the Moon’s impact on our lives.

Our inner, emotional selves are influenced by the Moon. Also known as our shadow self–this includes our innermost thoughts, feelings, and desires. It is possible that we don’t notice the Moon’s effects after a major event. Around us. Instead, we must look for the lunar aftermath Within us.

These are the most important Moon events that you need to be aware of in 2022.

January

January 2nd was Capricorn’s first new Moon in 2022. New Moons are a time for reflection and reassessing, two of Capricorn’s favorite pastimes. It is possible that you felt more motivated to plan for the future and regroup.

We experience the 2022 full moon two weeks later, on January 17th. Full Moons are more powerful than new Moons and can be activated and energized. The Moon’s full phase of the lunar cycle enhances our understanding and clarity of the world around them.

Full Moon insights can be very polarizing. They can either be very good or very poor. Being in Cancer, this month’s full Moon is likely to highlight some emotional dust that needs cleaning.

February

February 1st marks the arrival of a new Moon for Aquarius. Technically, this new Moon will be a Supermoon. The Moon, though dark, will be at the Earth’s closest point for the month. Take a moment to reflect on what is holding you back. Are you looking for new environments?

After this reflective period, we’ll see a full Moon in the 11th House under Leo. Our inner selves are called to reconnect with friends and our community. But be cautious of Leo’s influence. Leo’s warm confidence can come across as brash arrogance if not kept in check.

February is the month for change and reconnecting. Think about what has been serving you, and most importantly, what hasn’t been. Get rid of toxic relationships and join new social circles.

March

March will be a very emotional month. We are thrown headfirst into an ocean of emotions by the new Moon in Pisces, March 2. You might feel melancholy or more than usual.

You will feel the emotion you feel early in a month. A shake-up isn’t necessarily a bad thing. Instead, it’s a call to action. Do you feel that your day-today worries are weighing on your mind lately?

When the full Moon enters Libra on March 18th, it’ll be time to balance the scales. There are two things that you can do with your life: what you want it to be or what it is. How can you blend them?

April

Don’t worry if you can’t muster the courage to change in March. A new Moon in Aries will bring us extra confidence on April 1. You should be aware that you are not the only one who feels this way. “confidence” doesn’t bubble over into “aggressive arrogance.”

The balance will be maintained by another full Moon in Libra. However, indecisiveness might result from this balance. Consider it the gust of wind that blows out Aries’ fiery influence.

We’ll close April with a solar eclipse in Taurus. When the Moon is between the Sun’s rays and the Earth’s, solar eclipses are observed. These are internal battles between our emotions, egos and the Sun. They often signal new beginnings.

May

Two weeks after April’s solar eclipse, a lunar eclipse occurs in the 3rd House under Sagittarius. These eclipses also signify an emotional confrontation. They can also be a sign of major turning points or endings.

This is a great time to evaluate your communication style. Is it clear that what you mean and how you say it are the same thing? Are others misinterpreting your intentions? These are all critical questions to reflect on before the month’s final new Moon.

May closes on May 30th with a new Moon at Gemini. Gemini is known for being finicky and indecisive. So, it’s essential to take the necessary time to reflect and regroup. Don’t blow off self-improvement for tomorrow.

June

June is a month of great lunar energy. On June 14th, there will be a full Supermoon for Sagittarius. Sag will provide the much-needed inspiration for growth and expansion.

On June 29, a new Moon will follow the Strawberry Moon. The new Moon will enter its darkest phase in Cancer. Cancer is the sign where the Moon rules. Imagine all that lunar power amplified by Cancer’s emotional, moody energy.

This Moon-in-Cancer combo can make you feel like you’re on the front seat of an emotional rollercoaster. Keep your eyes and attention away from your immediate surroundings to help you stay grounded. You can try a new job or get involved in something new within your local community.

July

July’s full Moon takes place on July 13th under Capricorn. Capricorn is famously organized and hard-working, making them an excellent influence over the full Moon’s activating energy. Mid-July will be a great time for executing what you’ve been planning since January.

The Moon enters its darkest phase at the 11th House, Leo, towards the end July 28th. This time you may experience difficulties in your social circle. This could be due to your unattainable standards or out of your control.

July will be a good month to appreciate the power of giving and taking. Don’t be fooled by all that Leo energy later in the month. You can learn to be a good follower from anyone.

August

Leo season is often associated with fire signs. This August, however, Leo will be feeling the influence from Earth and Air. These opposing forces will soften Leo’s intensity and help you achieve a better balance between work and pleasure.

Aquarius is swept by a Supermoon full on August 11. Aquarius already has the reputation of being a dynamic sign. Its influence can be revolutionary at times, sometimes even to the point of being dangerous. Although you may be tempted by the temptation to tackle every project, goal or other August task, it is important to keep your feet on the ground.

The August 27th new Moon in Virgo should be helpful. By this point in the summer, you will have had ample opportunity to act on the Moon’s influence. As we transition into fall, assess how far you’ve come and how far you have left to go.

September

Remember Pisces’ moody influence over the Moon in March? Get ready to take on this dreamy sign in September. The 10th sees the full Moon in Pisces. This gives insight into our day, mental health, work, and routines.

Pisces can be self-destructive to a fault. September’s full Moon might force you to confront the fact that you’re running yourself ragged. What’s the point of achieving professional success if you’re 100% burnt out by the time you get it?

The 25th of this month will see a new Moon in Virgo, which will highlight the need to do more. This reflective period is in the 12th House of Self-Undoing. Take a look at your life, and notice any habits that do more harm than good.

October

This year’s Scorpio season is a bit strange. The season begins with a full moon in Aries on October 9. This occurs in Scorpio’s 8th House of Reincarnation.

October is likely to bring new revelations about mental health and mortality. Pay attention to the dangers associated with impulsivity. Although it may seem exciting at the time, the consequences can be devastating.

Scorpio season is over with a full solar eclipse. Scorpio is all about power. Its perceptive influence can help you propel yourself forward into a new chapter. You will soon reap the benefits.

November

The beginning of a new chapter is the end of an old chapter, and this is especially true in November. A lunar eclipse takes place under Taurus on the 8th. This will affect mental health and shared investments.

Do not make any new financial commitments at this time. There’s nothing wrong with perusing your options, but late November won’t be conducive to prosperity. Instead, it’d be smarter to slow down, assess, and regroup.

This will be helped by a new Moon in Scorpio on the 23rd. Families gather to celebrate the winter holidays. You may be aware of how much vulnerability you dislike. You can open up to the possibility that you will be seen.

December

The December 8th full Moon in Gemini will mark the beginning of the final month 2022. This period will see significant cerebral changes. The full Moon’s polarizing energy funnels into the 9th House of Philosophy, Travel, and Education.

You can use the Moon to help you shift your perspective, gain insight and create new perspectives. While new ideas and environments might seem alarming at first glance, it can help you to shift your perspective and gain greater insight.

A new Supermoon will be in Capricorn to close the year. This will allow you to take a break and reflect on what you’ve learned in the month (and in 2022).
