The reality-show star spouse of a doctor who appeared on “Botched,” a popular show about cosmetic surgery, saved him when she demanded help for an undiscovered mini stroke.

Terry and Heather Dubrow were discussing their security code for the front door of their home while out at dinner when suddenly, Terry began acting strangely.

“He was babbling and his eyes were glazed and what he was saying did not make sense; he was not there,” Heather says.

Heather, who is a regular on the show “The Real Housewives of Orange County,” told others to dial 911 but Terry insisted he wasn’t hurt.

“I said you are overreacting, you’re embarrassing, I’m normal, stop it,” Terry says.

A video from TMZ shows the couple arguing in front of a restaurant when Terry refused to go to hospital.

Real Housewives’ star was able convince her husband he might be suffering from a stroke, and that they should go to hospital.

The hospital performed an MRI to determine that Terry suffered from a Transient Ischemic Attack or mini-stroke, which had decreased the blood supply to the area in the brain controlling speech.

Terry had a TIA, and he underwent surgery. Terry has now recovered.

“Maybe when she is arguing with me from now on, I’m gonna say, ‘OK you’re right,’” Terry says.

According to experts, one third of people who experience a ministroke go on to have a stroke in the year following the event. If you have any of these symptoms, experts recommend that you call a medical professional. The symptoms include paralysis and problems with vision.
