Before Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen seized control of the world with their empire, the twins traded places as Michelle Tanner. Full House. Fans of the beloved sitcom will remember Michelle’s best friend, Teddy, played by a pre-Smart Guy Tahj Mowry. It’s no surprise to hear that the Olsen Twins needed a babysitter every once in a while, and who better than another set of twins, Mowry’s famous older sisters, Tia and Tamera.

Full HouseShe and her sister were invited to babysit for the Olsen Twins. And while it didn’t last too long, the moments were as sweet as can be (via People):
It was only for a brief moment. It was only half a day. It was great fun. It was so much fun, even though I forget where my mom had to go. I also love that she trusted me and my sister to care for them. They must have been 7 or 8. They were young. They were sweet and so kind. All they wanted was matzo balls soup.
It’s definitely a shame that we didn’t get more of the Olsen and Mowry Twins together since they both were taking over in the ‘90s and still to this day. Even Mary-Kate and Ashley are still working together. But it sounds like that day on set was a great one and the fact that Mowry-Housley still holds that day near and dear to her heart speaks volumes.
Tahj Mowry recurred on Full House for just 14 episodes through its nearly 200-episode run, but it was a disappointment his sisters weren’t in mehr. However, you can only have as many twins on one TV show. However, I love the moment that the Olsens & Mowrys share off-screen. It’s a sweet moment that all four of them can enjoy together no matter how far back it may have been.
With Full House With three decades of history behind us, finding new information or more content about what took place behind the scenes is always a rare thing. John Stamos posted previously throwback videos of Olsen Twins from the set of Full House when they were just itty bitty, and it’s the cutest thing ever. Who knows how many stories and videos people have hidden from this set?
Meanwhile, Full House It celebrated its 35th year anniversary recently. The stars shared many throwback photos to celebrate the TGIF series. The series aired for eight seasons, and it was a success story that launched the careers of Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen. While the two aren’t as prominent in the public eye anymore, I wonder if they have any of their own stories from the set of Full HouseThese include the day Tamera Mowry and Tia looked after them.
