DeadlineHe stated that, despite owning guns in nearly every scene, there has never ever been a gun-related incident on any of his projects. In his own words, here it is:

What happened to the Set Of Rust?
Alec Baldwin shot the prop gun from the set of his prop gun, October 21st. RustHe was unaware that he had at least one live gun. This is not the norm in a movie set. Furthermore, it is not known why prop guns had live rounds.
