Stepmom Says She Is Biological Mom: TikToker Exposes Shocking Lie
A stunned mother expressed her frustration after discovering her daughter’s stepmom is pretending to be the child’s biological parent in front of other parents at a dance class the child attends. TikTok user Belle Blake (@mrsbelleblake) shared how upset she was to discover that the woman, who she names Stephanie, has been going around and disseminating this lie.
Discovering the Shocking Lie
To make matters worse, Blake said that the woman has been not only pretending to be her daughter Delilah’s birth mother, but that she even commandeered some of the stories of the kid’s birth to use as their own. Numerous TikTokers who responded to her video seemed equally concerned about the incident.

Blake begins her video, which she records from the interior of her car, explaining the awkward situation that arose between her and the instructors at her daughter’s dance school: “I just picked my daughter up from dance class and her stepmom has been telling everyone that she’s her biological mom.”

“Not just like oh yeah I’m Mom, like casually just in like the middle of, like, nothing conversation of … oh I’m the one picking her up, mm-mm. Her stepmom has been telling everyone that she is her biological mom. Like having conversations about when she was pregnant with her,” she says, highlighting the troubling lie that the woman’s been telling people at Blake’s daughter’s dance class.
The Emotional Fallout
The mom and TikToker began to break down how she made this discovery — which happened when one of “the other mothers” approached her and said, “you must be Delilah’s stepmom.” Confused, she replied that she’s Delilah’s biological mother, not her stepmom who’s been taking her to dance classes.

“This woman stole my birth story! My birth story! That I went through. She’s out here telling people that she was pregnant with Delilah, and she had preclampsia. And she had seizures! She had to stay in the hospital with magnesium drip! Excuse me?” she says, chewing gum into the camera, a look of bewilderment on her face.
