When it comes to his wife’s work, Tom Pelphrey admitted he was a bit behind, living a secluded life in upstate New York before meeting Kaley Cuoco. Despite not catching any of her performances, Pelphrey shared, “I hadn’t seen Kaley in anything. Look, I live in a cave. Before I met Kaley, I was living in upstate New York, on a dirt road, in the middle of the woods, without much Wi-Fi. She’s brought me into modern times.” Their California abode now boasts a menagerie of six rescue dogs and the pair welcomed a daughter in 2023, adding a new dynamic to their idyllic life.

Tom Pelphrey: The Actor

While Pelphrey may not have graced the sets of mega sitcoms like “The Big Bang Theory,” his acting credits are nothing to scoff at. In 2017, he portrayed Ward Meachum, the childhood friend of Danny Rand (Finn Jones), and later, secured a role on the hit Netflix series “Ozark” as Ben Davis, the sibling of Laura Linney’s character, who grapples with mental health challenges. His talents shone through on the 2023 HBO miniseries “Love & Death” and translated onto the silver screen in David Fincher’s “Mank” (2020), where he played Joseph L. Mankiewicz, opposite Gary Oldman’s Herman. Pelphrey also made an appearance in “She Said” (2023), a gripping portrayal of the groundbreaking Harvey Weinstein exposé by The New York Times.
