Season 3 Official Trailer season 3 episode 9 isn’t happening but more is on the way

*WARNING: Spoilers ahead for Prime Videoseason 3, episode 8*

Each new season of The Boys has brought with it plenty of blood-soaked twists and turns and season 3 has been no different as each episode has seen the show’s landscape shift considerably thanks to the creation of a new variant of Compound V and the re-emergence of an old supe.

Episode 8 of The Boys’ third instalment has left fans especially hungry for more as it was packed with some dramatic revelations, the gruesome death of a fan-favourite and an ominous cliffhanger of things to come.

Sadly, however, there will not be an episode 9 in The Boys season 3 but the series is far from over as Amazon Prime Video has already confirmed what’s coming next.

The Boys Season 3, Episode 8 Recap

Amazon Prime Video launched Episode 8 from The Boys season 3 on Friday, July 8th 2022.

Titled Instant White-Hot WildThe episode is pivotal as Homelander finds his son Ryan with the help Victoria Neuman, and confronts Black Noir about his father.

Homelander questions Black Noir at Vought Tower about his parents. Noir confesses to knowing Soldier Boy was his father but Homelander kills him.

Maeve, Soldier Boy and Butcher are preparing to confront Homelander at Vought tower.

The meeting quickly turns violent as Soldier Boy disapproves of Homelander’s show of weakness by bringing Ryan and he attacks, resulting in Butcher turning on Soldier Boy in return while Maeve focuses her attention on Homelander, but has one of her eyes gouged out in the fight.

Maeve challenges Soldier Boy through a glass, just as he’s about to unleash an explosive radioactive blast that will kill everyone in the room.

Vought, in the aftermath, announces that Maeve has died because of her sacrifice. In reality, however, she has lost her powers. She plans to live a quiet and peaceful life with Elena.

Mallory takes Soldier Boy into custody and places him in stasis. Butcher then informs Soldier Boy that he is only going to survive for a few more months because of his use of V24.

After the Deep drowned the incumbent, Victoria Neuman was announced as the new Vice-President. This was part of her agreement with Homelander.

At a rally for Singer and Neuman, Homelander kills a Starlight-supporting protester and Ryan, who had previously disliked his father’s aggression, seems to approve.

The Boys season 3 won’t feature an episode 9

Season 3 of The Boys will not have an episode 9, as the season finale was the eighth chapter.

Fans of The Boys will recognize that this episode mirrors seasons 1 and 2, as the previous eight-episode series had been.

The first three episodes of season 3, which were broadcast in one-off on June 3, were followed by the remainder of the season, with new episodes arriving weekly on Fridays and the final airing on July 8.

Karl Urban suggested to Variety In March, he stated that season 4 would be shooting through 2022. On June 10, Amazon announced that the series has been renewed.

Filming is expected to start in 2022. Season 4 of The Boys will likely be on the screens by 2023 or 2024.

In addition to the fourth season of the main series, there are a few spin-offs.

The first was The Boys Presents: DiabolicalAnimated anthology series that launched in March 2022.

The second is scheduled to be Varsity: The Boys PresentsWhich? Eric Kripke: will be based on the G-Men team who were mentioned back in season 1 of The Boys and are a parody of Marvel’s X-Men.

The spin-off series was first announced in September 2020. Filming began at the University of Toronto on May 20, 2022. It is expected that filming will continue until October.
