Affordable Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G Smartphones With Premium Features

Samsung has launched a pair of smartphones that won’t break the bank despite flaunting some premium-level features. It’s been a busy year for the Korean tech giant already, having launched big AI boasting Samsung Galaxy S24 phones in January.

Introducing Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G

The two new devices are called the Galaxy A55 5G and the Galaxy A35 5G. These smartphones bring top-level security upgrades to the budget Galaxy A series of handsets for the first time. Samsung claims these devices feature a killer battery that can last up to two days on a single charge. Moreover, they come with improved cameras capable of taking better snaps in low light conditions.

Enhanced Security and Long-Lasting Battery

Both the Galaxy A55 5G and the Galaxy A35 5G are secured by Samsung Knox, the company’s multi-layer security platform designed to keep critical information safe and protect against vulnerabilities. These smartphones feature a 5000mAh battery, which is the same size as the company’s flagship Galaxy S24 Ultra and larger than any iPhone battery. The main difference between the two devices lies in the chipset, with the A55 being slightly more potent in that aspect.

Camera and Display

The cameras on the A55 and A35 differ, with the selfie camera boasting 32-megapixels on the A55 and 13-megapixels on the A35. Apart from that, both devices sport a 6.6-inch display and come in four color options.

Variants and Pricing

The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G is available in two variants – 8GB Memory + 128GB Storage for £439 and 8GB Memory + 256GB Storage for £489. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy A35 5G also offers two variants – 8GB Memory + 128GB Storage for £339 and 8GB Memory + 256GB Storage for £389. These devices are priced competitively, starting at £339, depending on the model and storage size you opt for. They are set to be available for purchase from March 20.

“Our ambition is to bring the latest technologies to everyone,” explained James Kitto, Vice President and Head of MX Division, Samsung UK and Ireland. “We’re really pleased to be opening up even more possibilities on our competitively priced Galaxy A series devices, including offering Samsung Knox Vault for the first time on this lineup, meaning that users can enjoy our outstanding mobile experiences with even more confidence and security.”

In conclusion, the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G offer premium features at an affordable price point, making them a compelling choice for smartphone users looking for a budget-friendly yet feature-rich device.
