Reptile release date on Netflix and the cinema

HITC notes the Reptile Netflix release date and whether it’s based on a true story.

Netflix has made it easier than ever to enjoy a movie theater experience at home. Netflix has released a number of movies this year including Extraction 2 and Heart Of Stone, which have featured some big names. The platform’s forthcoming Reptile recently teased a compelling American crime thriller with its first trailer, and audiences can’t wait to see what the Benicio del Toro and Justin Timberlake must-see will offer. So, let’s highlight the Reptile Netflix release Date and whether the movie is based on a true story.

Reptile Netflix release date

Reptile, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival Thursday September 7th, 2023 will be available on Netflix starting Friday October 6th, 2023.

Although it’s streaming on Netflix exclusively from October, it is receiving a one-week theatrical release in select theaters on Friday, September 29th 2023. The audience will be able to choose whether they want to watch it in a large or small format.

Netflix used to use this technique in the olden days with big films like The Gray Man and Red Notice.

Reptile stars Benicio as Tom Nichols, a New England detective tasked with cracking the case of a real estate agent’s murder while getting introspective about his own life.

Reptile is based on an actual story.

Reptile isn’t based on a true story and its screenplay presents an original crime thriller that viewers can sink their teeth into.

Grant Singer is also making his feature film debut. He’s an American director of music videos who has worked with artists like The Weeknd and Sam Smith.

Grant wrote the screenplay along with Benjamin Brewer, Benicio and Benicio.
