Due to health concerns, Reba McEntire had to cancel several of her upcoming concerts. CNNThe 67 year-old country music legend made a social media statement announcing that she was postponing her concerts for this weekend.
“My doctor has advised me to go on vocal rest, so I have made the difficult decision to reschedule this weekend’s shows,”McEntire posted on Instagram. “All tickets will be honored for the new dates.”
In December, the shows will be rescheduled. Columbus, OH will host the country legend on December 2, Raleigh, NC on December 3, and Indianapolis, IN on December 16. McEntire expressed her gratitude to her fans for their understanding.
McEntire is not currently facing any major issues, although her voice is her claim for fame. McEntire followed up her announcement with a beautiful photo taken at her St. Louis show two week prior.
“Nobody show this to Riddler!!! When we played St. Louis two weeks ago, [strayrescuestl] brought in puppies to visit us,”McEntire wrote. “We fell in love with them! If you’re in the St. Louis area and looking for a pet of your own, check them out!”
Rex Linn is McEntire’s love and is on the ground, covered in puppies. McEntire is sitting next to them, with her puppy and a big smile. They were granted a reprieve if they had any concerns during the week.
McEntire, despite having to rest her voice, has been very busy in recent months. McEntire is currently on ABC’s Big Sky and plays a more devious character than she used to. She’s also getting ready for another Christmas on Lifetime. This will include a little reunion for her classic sitcom.
She will play The Hammer and will be reunited to Melissa Peterman, her co-star. It is part of her current streak for the network. The film stars and produces the country icon. Her first film, Reba McEntire’s Christmas in Tune, debuted in Christmas 2021.
