Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City's Jen Shah Speaks Out On Jennie Nguyen Facebook Controversy And 'Disingenuous' Apology

Jen Shah has seen her fair share of troubles, both on and off the job. Salt Lake City Real Housewives. In a few months’ time, in fact, the reality star goes to trial over her fraud and money laundering charges. Her co-stars have not been spared from scandal, however. Recent Facebook posts by Jennie Nguyen, a series newcomer, were the subject of a lot of criticism. Shah has since spoken out on the matter, which included calling Nguyen’s apology “disingenuous.”

Multiple screenshots of Jennie Nguyen’s Facebook posts have been circulating on social media amongst fans. These posts date back to September 2020 at the end of the Black Lives Matter protests against police brutality. Nguyen appears to have taken a pro-political stance in these posts and implied that the protestors responsible should have been held accountable.

Jennie Nguyen would later confirm that her Facebook posts were true, and Jen Shah wasn’t too happy. Shah released a statement. InstagramHer family is actually biracial, and she was “deeply offended”Comment. The Salt Lake City Real Housewives alum continued,

It was frustrating to see her post and like comments that made a mockery and showed complete apathy towards those who died marching to raise awareness about the deeply rooted social justice issues that plague our nation.

Some Salt Lake City Real Housewives fans were likewise upset about the posts in question and were even calling for Jennie Nguyen’s removal from the show. Nguyen replied to the backlash on her blog InstagramShe believed that she was. “speaking out against violence”at the time, but later learned “how offensive and hurtful”The Facebook posts are. She apologized and said that she regretted the posts. “the pain they caused.” However, Jen Shah apparently isn’t buying what Nguyen is saying. Shah said that in her statement.

The disingenuous apology was equally disappointing to me. We have some serious shit to discuss, it is obvious.
