Manchester City and England star Phil Foden enjoy League Cup football so much he’s named his French bulldog “Carabao”.

He bought his beloved pet after his outstanding performance against Aston Villa at the 2020 League Cup final.

And the Athletic reports there was only one name fitting for the latest addition to the Foden household, with the City midfielder naming the canine after the Cup’s primary sponsor Carabao.

Foden, 21 years old, has had incredible success in the competition. He’s won the Cup every season he was part of the first team.
