If you’re into this sort of thing, Netflix offers an abundance of almost every iteration of the dating reality show concept that you can think of. For example, one version features participants in outrageous masks. This makes blind dates seem absurd. Others such streams have been created by the streamer. Blind love is possible, Indian Matchmaking, Too Hot to Touch?, and Dating Around. But it’s Netflix’s newest such project, Dated and relatedThat might be the most cringe inducing.

Notwithstanding the unfortunate title, this isn’t a show about incest. Instead, this show is about sexy singles having fun in a villa located in the south of France. The hook-ups commence … but it’s all under the watchful eye of each participant’s sibling.
September 2nd will see the debut of the 10-episode series. Netflix also seems to have gotten the idea for this show. It is reallyThe streamer needed someone to turn the awkward up to 11.
Netflix chose to host the event. Dated and relatedIs Too Hot to Touch star Melinda Berry. It’s a fitting choice since she shares something with the other participants of this new show: specifically, her 14 siblings.

The cast includes two twin brothers from the UK who are both actors. “life-of-the-party blonde sisters” (Netflix’s words), plus Italian cousins from Jersey, as well as “bombshell” Iranian twins.
“Imagine you’re on a first date,” reads Netflix’s marketing for the series. “The ambiance is just right, and you’re on your second glass of bubbles. Your date leans over to whisper something sweet in your ear. Just as sparks begin to fly, you notice something in your periphery: It’s your brother, sitting in the corner, watching you. No, this is not a scene from a fever dream you had once — it’s Dated & Related.“
Because there is apparently no limit to the deep wellspring of dating awkwardness that Netflix’s unscripted team will pull from, it seems.
