Mystery Woman Covered in Blood waving at a fisherman Found in sea with no Memory And Empty Purse!

The woman, who speaks ‘perfect English’, was found covered in blood waving at a fisherman on the isle of Krk in Croatia

The belongings of a woman who was found on a rock in the northern Adriatic sea with no memory of who she is have been recovered by Croatian police.

Officers searching the isle of Krk found the woman’s backpack and purse on Tuesday, about 500 meters from where she was first rescued on 12 September.

A police source told the local news site 24sata that the purse had no documents or money.

Also, photographs show a rescue team lifting the woman onto a stretcher and transporting her to an ambulance.

The woman, believed to be in her 60s, was initially seen waving at a fisherman off a jagged rock outcrop.

The woman, who speaks English “like a professor”, was found covered in blood

He then called for help, and a team of 14 people used 4x4s and walked two miles across jagged rocks on the isle to rescue her.

The woman, who speaks English “like a professor”, was covered in blood and had no idea how she came to be on the rock, nor could she remember her own name.

She was not carrying a passport, papers, or phone and was reportedly dehydrated and emaciated. Officials said she was so weak she could barely take a sip of water.

Local authorities have said no one has come forward to identify her. On Sunday, police released the woman’s details and photograph after spending a week trying without success to identify her.

She has been described by local officials as being 5ft 4in with shoulder-length hair, wearing a pink hat, striped top, and dark trousers.

A police spokesperson said: “Various methods have been tried to establish her identity but so far none have proved successful.”

Experts say she had managed to survive several nights, despite terrifying wildlife, including bears, prowling the island.

One person said to 24Sata that it was strange that she was even looking around the area. It’s a remote area of the bay that is difficult to access. There are sharp rocks, literally razors that can cut your shoes.

“There is no life or animals except maybe wild boars or bears which know how to swim to here in search of food, but this is a rarity because there is no food, nothing.

“A woman that age certainly could not swim that distance, it needs exceptional strength.”

A local of Soline, the small village from where the woman was discovered said the woman had not been staying in the village because she would have been recognized.

Another, from neighboring Klimno, suggested she may have “strayed while walking, fell, and lost her memory due to a blow to the head.”

Krk is very popular among holidaymakers from Italy, Austria, Hungary, and southern Germany.
