Her “unstable and chaotic” family life led her to struggle with a serious drug abuse problem.

Shani, then 16, was thrown from her home and forced to couch surf or sleep on the cold streets.

Shani says her son Oscar, who was born in her 20s and early 30s, changed her life.

Shani has never graduated from high school. She managed to find a job as a recruiter and eventually worked her way into a managerial role.

The mother-of-one finally decided to get clean and pursue a career.

Shani enrolled at an university as a mature adult student to continue her education. She studied sociology.

She completed her law postgraduate in only two years rather than three and then began to climb the corporate ladder.

Shani took an entrepreneurship course during her university studies. This inspired her to be her own boss.

The woman said, “I couldn’t imagine going back to work for another company and working at an office.” 7Life.

Open To Grace is the business consulting firm that she runs as a single mother. She provides guidance to businesses in order for them to flourish.

She worked 18 hours per day for seven days.

“Almost everything else in my life was put on hold so I could fully immerse myself in creating my life the way I wanted it,” she said.

She said that she made a huge five-figure income in her first 30 business days. Now, three years after, it is valued at seven figures.

“Now, I have more money than I’ve ever had before, more time freedom than I’ve ever had, and a business that serves people all around the world,” she said.

This comes after a self-made millionaire revealed his secret to earning £156,000 a month by the age of 30.
