This week’s episode was about Becca and Dan who called in reinforcements to finish their year-long project before baby number 2.

Simon and Carolyn created a bold, pop-art-inspired kitchen.

The final look of the kitchen was not appreciated by viewers.

One took to Twitter and wrote: “That Peckham kitchen is horrible. Looks dark and submarine like to me #littlehousebigplans.”

An additional: “That Peckham was was vile, really really vile. If ever there was a type, that was it, you just knew the owners would look like that #littlehousebigplans.”

A third tweet was also sent: “The kitchen in the Peckham house looked like a caravan #littlehousebigplans.”

The fourth share: “We spent £125k to extend our kitchen and make it feel like a grotty primary school basement, but it’s OK because the market’s so stuffed our neighbour’s house sold for over a million and we’ll still make money #littlehousebigplans.”

It’s not the first time viewers have complained about a transformation in the show.

Guest Marie wanted to downsize her family home in order to purchase a house in Jamaica and keep a home in the UK.

Marie’s flat was part of a large Victorian house that was later converted to flats.

Her dream of opening up her ground floor flat and making it an open-plan space was thwarted by a lack of tradespeople.

Sarah and her team transformed the flat.

However, many Channel 4 viewers were confused by the fact that the living area had been turned into a long corridor.

One wrote: “The weird nothing space should be a dining area & the area at the end a bedroom or another sitting room. #LittleHouseBigPlans”

Another agreement: “I thought that too. That space was just a walk through and perfect for a dining table.”
