League of Legends patch 12.20 is available and includes spooky skins to celebrate Halloween

League of Legends will be the first big game to get a patch in mid October.

First, Pokémon Go announced its ghostly Halloween event. Fortnite added Pumpkin Launchers to its battle royale.

League of Legends will soon allow players to purchase spooky skins and other items.

Here are the major changes in the LoL12.20 update patch:

LoL champions: Changes

Thirteen of LoL’s champions have received some sort of change in the latest patch.

Maokai and Aatrox have had their passive healing powers reduced to a lesser extent.

Evelynn, Gwen received a buff that increases their damage.

For Evelynn, her Hate Spike ability does more damage to marked targets, and Gwen’s Snip Snip has been buffed.

League champions have been balanced. Many of the items have also been balanced.

Demonic Embrace now uses a lot more AP in order to nerf the effect it has on tanks.

Frost Heart’s base damage has been reduced to stop early-game rushes.

Mortal Reminder now has more damage, but Phantom Dancer has its speed lowered.

Finally, Sterak’s Gage has been buffed so that it can compete with Death’s Dance.

It is now possible to “zero-tolerance language”policy that will detect in-game inappropriate language, such slurs live.

Anybody who attempts to send messages using this language will be notified and their message will be muted.

You can also honour players by appearing in the Add Friends or Friend Requests menu to make it easier for you to connect with them.

In the latest patch, new narrative missions were added.

These new missions will assist you in completing your Event Pass using Tales from the Rift Missions.

We’ve not been given more details on what the missions are, so you’ll just have to find out for yourself.

Some new skins were added for Halloween. Many female champions received new witch skins or chromas.

These skins can be worn by Anivia and Cassiopeia as well as LeBlanc, Neeko, Senna and Neeko.

The cosmetics will be available for purchase on October 20, just a few days after the patch goes live.
