Kate Middleton, like many of the royal women, loves to communicate subtle messages with their clothing choices. During a recent appearance in public, The Princess of Wales used jewelry to convey a message about female empowerment.

Middleton’s Earrings Represent ‘Femininity And Empowerment’

Middleton visited a Surrey hospital’s maternity ward earlier this week. The bright yellow Karen Millen dress was worn by the princess, with matching navy heels and a clutch. The look was completed with diamond earrings.

The earrings come from British jewelry brand Emily Mortimer, and are a part of the brand’s “Hera” collection. Hera is the Greek goddess Hera. She is believed to be protective during childbirth. These earrings are fitting for Hera’s visit at the maternity ward.

“The earrings looked great with what she was wearing so I’m just thrilled,” Foskett continued. Foskett has as customers Carole Middleton and her sister Pippa, in addition to the Duchess.

Middleton’s Work To Promote Mental Health, Early Childhood Development

While visiting the Royal Surrey County Hospital, Middleton met employees from the maternity unit’s Jasmine Team. This team assists women with mental health issues during and after pregnancy.
