Kanye West is being investigated for criminal battery in relation to an incident that allegedly occurred between him and a fan on Thursday, January 13th in Los Angeles. According to reports, a dispute broke out when a fan requested an autograph outside of a club. Things escalated from there.
The DondaLos Angeles Police Department claims rapper is a suspect in an investigation into misdemeanor battery. TMZIt was reported that an argument had turned physical.
Fox 11 Los AngelesAccording to the report, the fan reported the incident. He said that Kanye West approached him in his car outside Soho Warehouse at around 3 AM asking for autographs. The fan claimed that West punched him and jumped out his car after the two argued.
Fox 11 reported that Kanye drove off, and that a police investigation was initiated. LAPD is currently investigating this alleged incident and has filed a police report.
TMZ reported earlier in the evening that Kanye West was having a party with Julia Fox at Delilah. Fox remained at the club while he apparently went home. TMZ also captured video of the rapper screaming and yelling. “Did y’all say that or not?”A person was seen outside a vehicle on Wednesday night or Thursday morning. However, it is unclear how the video is related.
